Gavin Witzer brings a combination of personal experience as both coach and player rarely seen in modern golf instruction. His passion for golf is immediately apparent when he speaks about the game. He has a remarkable stable of students that includes competitive players at every level; yet it is his ability to adapt to the needs of any golfer of any skill level that makes Gavin truly unique. Many of his students have arrived complete beginners and become avid golfers that consistently gain more enjoyment from the game as a direct result of Gavin’s carefully catered approach. 

From his early days as a standout high school golfer in the highly competitive Los Angeles golf scene, to his impressive NCAA Division 1 collegiate career at Loyola Marymount University, followed by a competitive professional stretch; Gavin has 26 years worth of experience and has honed his craft around some of the most well regarded minds in golf. His playing experience combined with time spent coaching at Mountain Gate Country Club followed by the Henry Brunton Golf Academy as lead coach and club fitter, is only the beginning for Gavin. As he is tuned in to a wide array of high level instructors, LPGA/PGA Tour players and golf personalities in order to continue to expand his expertise. Gavin brings all of this to Tijeras Creek in order to further his positive impact on golfers of all skill levels.
